Preparation Instructions:
Gretchen of Cleveland Ohio is the original author of this sugar free kettle corn recipe. It is pretty easy preparing the kettle corn. For step one, please take out a deep cooking pot, ideally something with a nonstick liner. Pour the Hain peanut oil into the pot, and heat it over a medium high heat temperature. Don't let the oil smoke, but do allow it to heat to the point that it starts to shimmer. Once the oil has reached that point, pour in the gluten free popcorn kernels, granulated kosher salt, and Splenda no calorie sweetener. Stir these ingredients around in the pot so that the mixture is nice and even. You will then want to place a tightly fitting lid over the pot, and then put on a snug pair of oven mitts. Next you will want to grab a hold of the pot handles, and then slide the pot back and forth until the popcorn has finished popping, or roughly until the kernels have slowed to a rate of popping which is about one pop every three seconds. Finally you will want to quickly remove the pot from the stove, and then shake up the kettle corn a bit. It's ready to serve, so pour it into your favorite serving bowl. We hope you enjoyed this.
