Preparation Instructions:
Brad out of East Wenatchee Washington was nice enough to mail in this heavenly raw clover honey kettle corn recipe. To get the preparation process rolling along, first you will want to take out a deep pot, preferably an aluminum nonstick stock pot with a nice fitting lid. Pour into the pot the organic raw clover honey, and heat it over low heat until it's an even liquid. Next pour in the Planters 100% pure peanut oil and the fresh Orville Redenbacher popcorn kernels, and then up the stove temperature to medium. Stir the ingredients around thoroughly, so that you have an even mixture. At this point you will want to place a lid over the pot. Moving along, take out a pair of firm fitting oven mitts, and begin shaking the pot continuously until the popcorn is finished popping. You will then want to remove the pot from the stove, and then evenly sprinkle the kettle corn with the plain table salt. Again place a lid on the pot, and then vigorously shake it while it cools. That concludes this unique and enjoyable kettle corn recipe. As a side note, I will say that most of the time that I have created this recipe, it worked. However there have been times that it did not turn out well, because the honey didn't really caramelize, which in turn made the hot popcorn a bit soggy. So it really depends on the honey quality, and how well you liquidize it in the first step. Do however take the risk and try this though, because when the honey caramelizes like it should, it makes for one of the best tasting kettle corn recipe out there, hands down. Cheers, and thanks for stopping by.
