Preparation Instructions:
For those of you who love both Guinness Beer and fresh popped kettle corn, this recipe is definitely worth a try. To get started, first you will want to take out a small to medium size saucepan. Add into the saucepan the Guinness Beer from a can, granulated white cane sugar, and light brown cane sugar. Stir these ingredients together over medium low heat until a thick and creamy mixture forms. Set this finished sugar sauce aside. Next take out a deep pot, and pour into it the pure vegetable cooking oil. Heat the oil over medium heat, until it begins to shimmer. Next stir in the unpopped organic kernels and the sugar mixture. Stir these ingredients together extremely well. Next place a lid on to the pot, and then put on a pair of oven mitts. Energetically shake the pot, while keeping the bottom of it firmly against the hot burner. Continue to shake it until all of the popcorn has popped, and the popping slows to one pop per second. Shake the pot for a minute or two while the hot kettle corn inside cools. Finally sprinkle the table salt over the kettle corn, and shake it to get a nice even coating. You are now ready to serve this yummy Guinness Beer flavored kettle corn, so pour it into a wooden serving bowl. This snack tastes the best warm, or slightly hot, as the kettle corn sugars will be a little sticky.
