Preparation Instructions:
Luke from Flying Ace Tavern in San Antonio Texas sent our staff this unique Flying Ace's kettle corn recipe. First you will want to preheat your backyard or outdoor barbecue to high heat. Next you will want to place a thick cast icon pot on the hot barbecue grill, and let it sit there for ten minutes with it's lid on. Once your pot is hot, pour the Crisco pure vegetable oil into it, and let it simmer for two minutes. Next you will want to pour in the yellow popcorn kernels, and stir them around in the oil thoroughly. Once your kernels begin to sizzle, pour in the pure cane sugar and liquid bees honey, and stir it around. Finally you will want to place a lid over this mixture, and then shake the pot until the popcorn stops popping. Obviously you will want to use oven mitts when handling the pot, so that you don't burn yourself. After roughly four minutes of shaking, your whole batch of kettle corn should have popped. Once the popping is done, evenly sprinkle the granulated salt over the top of the corn, then give the batch a few more final shakes. That wraps up this recipe, we hope that you liked it.
